Versatile watercraft
Versatile watercraft
An application example
Rudi Sube from Langenscheid thought about a plastic watercraft for, e.g., rescue missions in shallow water and flooded areas, as a towing boat in marinas, as a mobile bathing island, and/or as a kind of “water autoscooter” for obstacle rides.
The result – made exclusively from parts of our range – is a pontoon-shaped boat hull made of thermoplastic material – a completely flat boat bottom, no propulsion or control elements outside the hull, and only 6 cm of draught without cargo.
His patented vehicle can be manoeuvred not only via the bow/stern, but also transversely to the longitudinal axis via the starboard/port. Even 360° point turns around the central axis in the smallest space are possible for him.
Sube’s plastic shallow-water boat can be equipped with either a classic combustion engine (water jet), an environmentally friendly electric motor, or even a pedal mechanism for use as a pedal boat.
