An overview of our PVDF products
Polyvinylidene fluoride (abbr. = PVDF) is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic belonging to the group of fluoropolymers.
The fluorine content is slightly more than half.
In general, fluoropolymers are the high performers in plastics and chemical process engineering
because their fluorine content gives them increased chemical and thermal resistance.
A distinction is made between partially fluorinated polymers, such as PVDF, and fully fluorinated polymers, such as PFA.
The higher the fluorine content, the better the chemical and thermal properties.
The strong bond between highly electro-negative fluorine and carbon is the reason
for the high chemical resistance of partially fluorinated PVDF.
In addition to the standard PVDF types, KVG also has the special types PVDF-el (electrically conductive)
and PVDF-flex (= PVDF copolymer) available in stock.

Capstrips
Cap strips are used to cover and laminate weld seams and are available in various versions.
